9/22/10 - Brooks 0 - Phillips Academy 2 - Dads Game Review

Brooks was hoping for a repeat of last year's upset of PA today.  Unfortunately they ran into a bigger, stronger PA team.  Brooks hung tough for most of the first half having many chances of their own to counter PA's many.  Late in the half, PA made a deep run through the Brooks defenders for a shot at Glen.  Glen turned away the first one but gave up a rebound.  He turned away the second but unfortunately, the third found the net.  Not sure where the defense went on that one.  The second half started very much the same way the first had.  Lots if up and down action, exciting saves, exhausting runs but no goals.  Brooks put some pressure on for most of the half but you could see the starters tiring as the game wore on.  PA put the game away with a late goal as Brooks totally lost their legs at the end.
