9/20/10 - Brooks 1 - Worcester Academy 1 - Dads Game Review

Brooks was clearly the stronger team in this season opening non league contest.  The game was very competitive, but Brooks showed they were the better side throughout. Worcester's goal was a lucky deflection that rose over Glen's extended arms/fingertips.  Lucky one for sure.  For the rest of the half Brooks ran all over Worcester but could not find the net.  Early in the second, Sam popped home the first goal of the Brooks year.  The balance of the game had many opportunities but Brooks could never put another one in the Worcester net.  If the team can play at this level throughout the season it bodes well for them.  They do need to work a bit on finishing!!
